Suboxone®/Subutex® Medically-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

We know that rehab centers in Utah do an outstanding job at helping people through recovery, but where does one go for follow-up care after rehab?

Or, what if you haven’t been through rehab and you would like to see the effectiveness of Suboxone® or Subutex® treatment before you make the decision to enter rehab?

Here at White Tree Medical, we offer a long-term Suboxone® or Subutex® treatment solution. Our Suboxone®/ Subutex® doctors will aid you in your journey to long-term sobriety. We handle all of your medication needs and frequent drug screening.

Do I Qualify?

If you are over the age of 18.  We do not accept pregnant patients. However, if you are pregnant, we can coordinate care with another facility until you’ve completed your pregnancy and then begin your care at White Tree Medical.

If you become a patient, then we will go over your health history. Also, we will ask to know what substances you are currently taking. In addition, we will ask for the current amounts of opioids/opiates you are taking in order to create an individualized Suboxone® or Subutex® treatment plan.

If you feel like you may not qualify because of the quantity of drugs you are taking please still call us. Only in rare cases, do we not admit patients into the program due to high amounts of drug use.

What will my Suboxone®/ Subutex® treatment consist of?

You will receive service for long-term Suboxone®  or Subutex® treatment. Depending on the physician’s judgment and the needs of the patient, our care will consist of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits with a Suboxone® or Subutex® doctor, frequent drug screening, and case management visits. We strive to offer expert medical care in order to help you continue in a happy and healthy life.

Once you have completed the 3-month program and do not feel like you need to continue with the treatment, then you will have a discharge visit with your Suboxone® or Subutex® doctor. He/she will make sure you are healthy and well established to continue your life of sobriety without Suboxone® or Subutex®.

Medications such as buprenorphine, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of opioid dependency. When taken as prescribed, buprenorphine is safe and effective. (SAMHSA)
